Talking a little personal today :) It's been 8 days since i set foot in UK. February's weather is going to be really nasty before "summer" in March. I'm trying my best to juggle living well and also studying whilst getting around (Sometimes, it gets really tedious and i will miss home dearly but no! Let's be strong and focus cause i am here for a reason).

Some days back we had a class by Gary Pritchard, Vice principal of Conde Nast. He mentioned to us about how we could maximize our strengths and weaknesses. We had to do a little psychometric test for that as well. My top five strengths were restorative, relator, ideation, focus and developer. They were ranked in hierarchy. So Restorative was on my top. I didn't questioned that not to be true because in actual fact, i was very much a restorative. But i strongly felt that it wasn't always a strength.

I am a definite restorative in terms of personal relationships and friendships. Restoring something to its true glory before it cease to function or rekindling its vitality. That's me. Sounds like a healer but it's not. I guess the shadow side to this is we often get taken advantaged of very easily by putting ourselves in others' shoes because the other party may never want the same as you ( in fact sometimes they are just using you to their fullest). Been there done that, got disappointed and learned not to trust. However, i guess i am ready to put all nasty incidents aside and start afresh by learning to trust people more. That session with Gary was really like a therapy session. A quiet one i had with myself despite the noisy commotion all over the classroom w 40 over girls in class. I smiled to myself.

When you find the ones you can trust and rely on, that's one risk well taken and for eternally we all know that at least it was a genuine return. :) "Learn to choose to focus on your strengths as well and not only on your weaknesses. When you maximize them, imagine how great you could be with that capacity"- Words of Gary Pritchard *laughs*

Till the next time, signing off with love...
